Archers Post Town is an urban environment in Samburu County, Samburu East Sub County.
The location is along the Isiolo-Marsabit Highway. It is the border area along the Ewaso Nyiro River between the Samburu and Isiolo counties.
Most of the residents are from the pastoralist Samburu and Turkana communities. However, some residents from other Kenyan communities and foreign nationals due to attractive economic and tourism activities.
The area comprises a large military training base used by the British Army in collaboration with the Kenya Defence Forces.
Tourist attraction sites in the Archers Post environment include the Samburu National Reserve, West Gate Conservancy, and Buffalo Springs National Reserve.
